For our August meeting, we will be participating in IOAD preparation as a Coalition. International Overdose Awareness Day is our annual keynote event, where we bring our Mercer County community together to remember and support families and their loved ones that have been impacted by overdose, addiction and substance use disorder.
PCMC members play a huge role in the preparation and hosting of this event, and we are thankful for the time each one of our members is able to give in support of the event – whether through preparation tasks beforehand, or hosting vendor tables during the event.

The PCMC is dedicated to reducing substance abuse and misuse in individuals across the lifespan. As a member of the Prevention Coalition of Mercer County, you will be an active part in learning about emerging substances, changes in legislation, and participating in efforts that bring about environmental change. You will make connections across the Mercer County community and will help contribute to a healthier, safer and more responsible community.
