Educational Leadership Presentation hosted by ASYSST Features Al Hall, CEO of Dream Catchers on October 16th
On Wednesday October 16, the ASYSST Program at Ewing High School Hosted an Educational Leadership Presentation, facilitated by Al Hall, CEO of Dream Catchers LLC., for the high school Freshman and Seniors while the juniors and sophomores were taking their PSAT exam. The event entitled "Being a Real Leader" was held in the auditorium and impacted nearly 400 students. Some of the areas Mr. Hall addressed were:
"Staying woke", "overcoming fear", surrounding yourself with people that will "feed, not eat your dream", and "developing a ridiculous work ethic".
He used music, dance, sound bytes from famous world motivators and an intense passion to capture the attention of the nearly packed auditorium for over one hour. The kids were engaged in a question and answer period followed by a brief " off the chain" dance contest that had the whole room jumping! Later that day the kids began to contact him though social media reflecting on how much of an impact his words had on them.
The ASYSST enjoys havng the opportunity to bring in motivational speakers who can relate to and impact change in the lives of the students we serve.
