School Based Youth Services Program (SBYSP)

The Available School Youth Services Support Team (A.S.Y.S.S.T.), available in the DE Building, is a school-based youth services program (SBYSP) offered at Ewing High School, to help young people navigate the adolescent years, finish their education, obtain skills leading to employment or continuing education, and graduate healthy and drug free. A.S.Y.S.S.T. provides youth & families with a comprehensive set of services on a “one-stop shopping” basis which include: Crisis intervention; Individual & family counseling; Primary and preventative health services; Drug and alcohol abuse counseling; Employment counseling, training & placement; Part time & summer job development; Referrals to community-based services; Recreation; Pregnancy prevention programs; Learning Support services; Services for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Questioning [LGBTQ] students; Violence prevention.
